PICTORICO theme, supposed to be a grid?
-
Hi, I think I may be a bit clumsy with my wordpress abilities, but I am still having a hard time costumizing my site. I am looking for a grid theme, would like to post entries and see them add into the grid with a cover image per entry. Pictorico seemed to have that. I am now trying to make some entries but simply find a header option (which this theme did’t seem to have a header) AND, tried to add a simulated entry, just added up to a “latest post” menu bar on the bottom. No reason to emphasize there are too many texts and menu segments that I do not see in the original example display for Pitorico.
HELP PlEASE, i have been at this for days, thinking of giving up in wordpress haha. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @veronicaquirosc,
I can see that you’ve switched to Cubic since sending in this support request, which is another great grid-based theme. :)
You’ll see the grid start to take shape as you begin to publish new posts to your site. The posts will display, alongside any featured images you assign to them, on your front page by default
To help get you started, I could import some dummy content and settings from Cubic’s demo site for you. You can then begin to edit the content to your liking.
Would you like me to do that for you? Just let me know, if so!

Hello @Siobhyb!
I am using this thread to post my comment on Pictorico theme.
I am trying to get a landing page with just a photo (done) and I would like to add the “Blog” to the menu bar. How can I do that?I would also personalise more the landing page, but I guess it’s for a paid subscription (please correct me if I’m wrong, I am a total newbie!)
Thanks in advance,

Hi Umberto,
You can create a Blog page that lists all of your site’s posts by first publishing an empty, new page entitled Blog. From there, navigate to the Static Front Page panel of the WordPress.com Customizer and select the newly published page from the Posts page dropdown menu.
As to personalising your home page: Can you please can you start a new thread on this forum and explain a bit more about what you’re trying to achieve? You can start a new thread here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/themes#postform
It’s easier for us to keep track of different questions if they’re kept to separate threads and also prevents the original poster from receiving unnecessary email notifications.
Thanks!
