Picture alignment

  I have added two images to the page below. I want the images to post on the left and align next to each other. For some reason while I have added no align code to the images every image wants to center. Leaving they images to align under each other instead of side by side.
  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

  You don’t need a code to align images. WordPress.com editor has options to do so.
