Picture uploaded in latest post appears horizontal on i-pad, vertical on computer screens. Why? How to correct?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @alissterrell, for what it’s worth, it’s appearing horizontal on my computer as well.
What did you use to upload it?
-
Thanks for answering. I uploaded from my Macbook Pro. The original picture was horizontal, but I rotated it and saved it that way. It appears vertical on my Mac… Bizarre!

OK. Where did the original image come from?
Could you make a draft and upload the original image without rotating it on the mac?
-
Hi, it’s a picture I took with my phone. I’ll locate the original and get back to you about the draft. If you look at the post, there are other problems, too. The spacing is completely off. To be continued..
-
Yes, will make another draft with same photo. I was mistaken when I said I had rotated it (that was the only explanation I could imagine for the problem). Original photo is vertical, so really don’t understand why it shows up horizontal!

Hi @alissterrell, I see the latest post “Do You See What I See” and it has a vertical tree.
Is that the one you’re struggling with? It seems fine here in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari on my Mac.

By the way, you don’t need to add the modlook tag again as long as we’re having active conversation here. If I don’t get back to you for more than a business day you should go ahead and add it again so a different moderator will notice it. Otherwise, I’ve got you. Cheers :)

Hi, the problem is with the previous post “Tidings…” Thanks for getting back to me and moderating :-)
-
Hmm, so one post has properly oriented pictures and the other does not — what did you do differently between the two?
I went ahead and fixed the tower picture for you since that one’s been stuck in horizontal mode for a while now.
-
Thanks!
I used the same process for both: took picture on same phone camera, saturated colors and improved focus on Mac, saved, uploaded to WordPress for blogpost… -
Okay. If you run into this again, please try to notice any differences in your process — like whether you’re rotating them as you edit them, etc. For now, since it seems both of these were uploaded using the same process and the last one worked right, we’ll hope it was just a fluke and has since been fixed.
