Picture border
-
I’m hoping someone could help. My pictures are uploading fine, however they are uploading with a bright blue border around them. How can I get ride of that ugly border?

Are you referring to a wordpress.com blog?
If so please post the link so we can see what you see. -
Is this the blog you are talking about? http://phildebrand.wordpress.com/
I don’t see any blue borders on the images on the first page. Could you give us a link to a post where this is happening?

If this is the blog you are referring to then I cannot see a “blue border” around your images. I’m using a firefox 2.0.0.9 browser. -

So are you guuys saying don’t see it at all when you go on my blog?

Hmmm, now I’m seeing it in Firefox although not in Safari. I didn’t see it last time. You might want to implement what fracas says above so that it removes the border. You will include it in the link html for the images.
Some themes put borders around images and some do not. It also depends on the browser as they will all render pages slightly differently.

@timethief
I’ve noticed a slight difference in how FF mac and FF windows renders things. Since you are on windows and I’m on mac, that could be the problem. In FF mac, the border is very narrow, and shows up more on lighter images. -

This guy has the same template I do but no blue borders. Anyone?

I don’t know for sure, but your images are linked to files (so that if you click on them you get a larger image) where the ones on adambphoto are not. You can change this when inserting a photo by unchecking the “link to file” button.
-
Alternately you can edit the posts and go into code view and remove the “link” code and just leave the image link such as outlined under “images” in this FAQ: http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/07/01/how-to-write-links/
