Picture Captions

My captions for images are not showing up on my blog. I’ve seen this issue brought up a couple of times, but haven’t really seen a fix. Please advise.

Hi there!
I’m not sure how your theme displays image captions, but that might be something to look into. I also didn’t see any images on your blog where a caption might be displayed, so I’m not sure if you have already tested that.
Perhaps you can try inserting an image within the body of your post, and apply a caption to it.
Testing with another theme might also help, if you can’t get the first suggestion to work.

Thanks! It looks like I’m using the photo as a “featured image”, so maybe the parameters about captions are different. The image doesn’t really have anything to do with my post. I was just using it as “decoration.” I will try including the image within my post in the future.

No problem, Debbie.
Unless it is a custom feature of a particular theme, captions won’t show up for the Featured Image. That’s why I mentioned that ‘I didn’t see any images where a caption might be displayed”.
So +1 on being right about that assumption! ;)
