To stretch your meadow image so it fits perfectly as a background, you need to adjust the Image Size settings within the WordPress Customizer. Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Background Image, and look for the “Image Size” dropdown menu; selecting “Fit to Screen” or “Fill Screen” will force the image to stretch and cover the entire background area regardless of your screen size. If the image still looks cut off or misaligned, ensure the “Background Attachment” is set to “Fixed” so the image stays in place while you scroll, and use the “Image Position” tool (the 3×3 grid) to center the meadow exactly where you want it. Because stretching a small image can make it look blurry, it’s best to ensure your original meadow photo is at least 1920 pixels wide to maintain a sharp look on high-resolution monitors.
