  Is there any way to download a single picture from my own media library?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes. You can click to view the image and then right click and save it to your computer.

  That´s easier than I thought. Thanks. But is it the best picture quality that I can get by doing it that way?

  The best image quality is achieved by optimizing all images for the web and then uploading images that are pre-sized to fit the space it will be displayed in.
