picture for parent page on blog
-
Good evening! I tried to have a picture/theme for my parent page and when I went to the blog, another picture was there – similar but not the picture I chose. Also the background where posts are is black. Now there is no picture on the parent page. How do I get one (free) and how do I change the background from black to white for the posts? Thankyou!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi
when I went to the blog, another picture was there – similar but not the picture I chose.
Here’s the file image: https://poverello1221.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/pexels-photo-30732.jpg?w=1600. It’s cropped to fit the space allowed when assigned as the featured image on the first (and only) published post. When you publish a second post, then it will take the place of the first post at the top of the posts page, unless you make the first post sticky.
Now there is no picture on the parent page.
I’m not sure what you mean by the “parent page.” However, the Museum theme doesn’t have the option of a site header image, whether custom or default. See the Museum theme guide.
how do I change the background from black to white for the posts? Thankyou!
The site https://poverello1221.wordpress.com/2016/ doesn’t have a black background displayed anywhere (blog page, posts, static pages, etc.). You may change the background at Customize > Colors & Backgrounds > Choose a Palette. Save the chosen palette by clicking the Save & Publish button.
