Picture from a camera have a bad resolution on wordpress
-
I took pictures (0,5Mo to 3,5 Mo) with my camera with a decent resolution but the pictures appear very uglyly on the blog.
What is the minimum resolution for the pic so that the picture will appear decently as a thumbnail on the blog? -
-
Agreed. The one on your blog doesn’t look bad although that’s not a thumbnail.
Remember, all a thumbnail is a sample that gets folks to click through to the full size picture. Also remember that image files within a browser window are 72dpi. You can’t get around that.

The bigger the picture size, the worse the resolution in the thumbnail. Right now I dont want to work out whether that is pixels or bytes, it just is that way. If I understand what you are saying, it may be that your picture files are either larger than optimal or larger than they need to be.

The photos I see on this blog with a firefox 2.0.0.1 browser look fine to me http://justineromain.wordpress.com/

The bigger the picture size, the worse the resolution in the thumbnail
Um, no. That’s not correct.
