Picture in Toolbar-Side Bar column

  Is there any way to insert a “static” picture/image into the side bar, similar to selected “widgets” and show in position as assigned? eg, similar to posting/uploading an image in Opera Blogs (profile image)?

  Yes, just create a img tag like you would within a post. You can follow the FAQ on uploading pictures to get it to the server and to get the URL. You don’t have to publish the Post though. The picture will remain.
