Picture link, edit glitch.

  I am still new to word press. I am taking over a page. Every time I click on a picture link in dashboard to edit my curser get thrown down to the bottom of the page kind of like a glitch. To delete the link I have to hold the pic and hit the delete button but I want to edit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
