Picture not showing up

I have the reveler theme uploaded and saved and it doesn’t show my blog picture instead it show a grayed out picture.
https://gyazo.com/a8f2cdb948c8e8d552ef60fbd34130f9 see. How can I fix it? Also when trying a new theme it works in the live demo but then when I go to customize it it doesn’t look like the live demo. For instance Toujours has the header with the most recent pictures in the live demo when I go to activate it it’s not there and there’s no option to put it there. If you’re going to have themes they should look like the live demo.

yeah I changed the theme again but it still makes me mad that the live demo of the theme doesn’t even translate to what you put on your blog.

Thank you for your feedback, @butrflygrl02. We’re actively working to improve the theme switch experience so that there is less disparity between a theme’s demo site and what you get after switching.
In the meantime, we’re happy to help with any questions that come up when setting up your site.
One tip that I have is to make use of featured images. Images that are set as featured will be shared alongside your posts on social media and many themes, including Gateway, will display them on a site’s blog page.

I don’t know how to do that, but the theme I have set up it’s suppose to show the title of my blog post and a picture and it doesn’t do that.

You’ll need to set a featured image on each of your posts, which will then display alongside your posts on your home page. We have guidance on setting a featured image, including a handy screencast, here:
