Picture on blog homepage not showing up

    My picture looks perfect when you click on my blog, but on the homepage, the sliver of a picture is just greyed out and it won’t show up.

    What do I do?! I tried resizing the image, but it didn’t work.

    I’m sorry I can’t offer any help, but I’ve been having exactly the same problem on fitchburgpoint.com. I posted a question about it earlier today.

    Congratulations on having chosen Oxygen, the single most complicated theme we have. Fortunately, this is a simple problem.

    As you can see from the other threads about Oxygen in the forum here, you get a grey rectangle if you do not designate a Featured Image for each post; only Featured Images show on the front page.

    Oxygen is a complicated theme, but it’s not the only one. IMO there are a couple of others that are more difficult to set up. That means it’s necessary to read the documentation about each theme and understand the details. Many forum threads are tagged on the right sidebar with previous questions about specific themes and it would be useful to click and read previous questions as well as asking advice here or looking at the themes showcase about specific themes.
