Picture problems

WordPress seems to have a difficult time serving up pictures that I post on the blog. When the page is dialed up it’s common that one picture simply never makes it from the wordpress servers. What’s really odd is that it is never consistent in what picture fails to load: one day it’s one picture in a set, but the next day the same post fails to load another pic which the previous one missing is loaded fine.
This happens in both the pages posted for the public and during the editing process. The pics are all jpegs, compressed to about 100Kb in size. All are edited and saved in Paint.net – can’t see a problem with anything from a format standpoint.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I’ve had that problem too sometimes, and I just post the photo in the blog again.
But I have another problem. The spaces between lines/paragraphs. Even if I see one or two spaces in the “working overview” window, the disapair in view page.
I’ve tried various ways of fixing this but nothing seems to work for me (and many of my friends too).
I’m sorry if my english is not perfect – my motherlanguage is Icelandic :)
