Picture Questions
-
I’m having some trouble getting the pictures to upload the way I would like. I want the photos to be large and as you scroll down the page they will be in one column. When I try to upload on wordpress the pictures end up very small and go from left to right. I also tried changing the size to the largest format and that didn’t do anything. I was told by someone to use photobucket and get the html or img code from there and paste it onto my posts. However, that’s not working either, it’s just giving me a link and no picture. If you can help me out, that would be great as I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while.

You don’t need photobucket or any other external host.
When you upload a picture in your post, you get options for size and alignment prior to inserting (alignment should be set to “None”, if you want your pictures the one below the other). You can also change them afterwards (again in the post editor), by clicking on the picture and clicking on the mountain icon that shows up. Most important, there’s a general setting for these in Settings>Media: you can set the default size you prefer once for all.
Have you tried all these?

Sorry, align to None won’t give you one column: full-size images will, or hitting enter for a change of line after uploading each one.
