Picture with MistyLook theme
-
I was wondering if it was possible to put pictures with 500 pixels wide in this theme, cause when I put on a picture with 500 pixel wide the sidebar ends up at the bottom of the page. I want to know if it’s possible to expand the theme or do something so we can put those size picture without rescaling them ?!? 489 pixel wide pictures fits so I’m sure there’s a way to fix this.
Thanks

I forgot to mention this thing happend in Internet Explorer, but it look fine in firefox, safari and flock. So is this only a IE Problem ?!?

you’d have to widen the theme. which would make the header not fit.
you might try a different theme, engtech has a list of the maximum image size.

relative to that chart, 489 isn’t that bad. you might want to show more consideration for your dialup users, and crop your images, or use thumbnails. -

It’s more of since the picture is too wide, IE can’t handle it while other browsers can.
There’s enough things we can blame IE for. :)

there’s another problem with the image loading, its splits badly between the first two squares –they don’t fit even if you;re using flock. But there’s some other themes to use, fiord’s not all that good looking really…you’re better off doing what I just did…try another theme..

it’s something that needs to be fixed in the theme (overflow control). but that just means that your image will be clipped, it won’t allow you to post a wider image.

Ok, so I’ll keep this one for now and wait for another one like this that can accept 500 pixel image !
I just can’t figure why the only browser with this problem is IE every other browser I tried just works perfectly
Any way…
Thanks
