all my photos and gif’s are broken links and are not showing the pictures

i seem to have a problem with my posted photos and gif’s after awhile all i see are broken picture links and no photos or gif’s

Not just the blog in general; we need a link to a specific post or page displaying the problem. And put http:// in front of your links so they are clickable.

if i give you the links to the pictures,the links won’t work,it will go straight to the 404 error page not found but as an example this page which i have the link above should have enough examples,thank you kindly

I see the photo (man face + lion face) in the post. Is that the image that is missing for you?

no lettergrade,if you scroll down more you will see all the broken link pictures,i’m surprised you seen those and not the broken ones on the same page

I see what you mean. Don’t delete the photos from the media library for now, but you might want to rename the files and upload them and insert them in the posts. It’s an error we’ve seen a few times and we still don’t know what’s causing it, although I suspect it’s related to the Google outages.

I agree: don’t delete the pictures from the media library. This happened to me twice. And upon re-uploading (with a new name) they came back. But also note that I’ve been having problems with my internet service provider: finally got a tech guy out here who seemed to know how to do anything so my problem may be unrelated to yours…

why would the 404s be related to Google? -
There are two possible ways: Google’s had both DNS issues AND offline issues. If a while back WP.com purchased storage space on Google servers and there was an issue, it would only affect images on those servers. Also, when in doubt, blame Google. Or the NSA.
