  I want to put my text right next to an image, not below or above, is this able to be done?

  If you mean you want text wrapping around the image then this is the link http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/29/how-do-i-get-text-to-go-around-a-picture/
  If that’s not what you mean then type “images” into the FAQs blog search box. :)
