Pictures and text, not localized correctly
-
Sorry, I don’t have an example to show you because I got too frustrated with it and decided to just upload a bunch of photos and forget about the text
you can see my final post here in case that would help understand what I mean
http://bewitchingkitchen.wordpress.com/2009/06/21/focaccia/
the problem is with the photos in the “more” section: originally, I uploaded them individually, and added a little phrase in between explaining what they are. However, when I hit “publish” they end up in a random sort of order, and all the text on top of the page, instead of over each photo
please feel free to direct me to specific answers or posts about it, I searched the support site, maybe there is something I missed, though.
thank you!

Here is my suggestion:
1. Before inserting the images, insert placeholder text for the text you want to be above each photo as separate paragraphs and format it as desired (bold, italics, centered, etc.):
image text 1 image text 2 image text 3 etc.2. When you are ready to insert the images, put your cursor at the end of “image text 1 and hit return to create a blank paragraph.
3. Click “add an image and either select the image from your computer, or click on the media library tab if they are already uploaded, set the alignment and other options, and insert the image.
4. Repeat 2 and 3 for the rest of the images.
You can if you wish then go back and edit the text if need be.

Thanks a million, sacredpath (cool name… :-)
I will try that on my next post for sure. I am still a beginner and struggle with THE simplest things, only come here for help when I exhaust the abilities of my brains (that tends to happen fast sometimes)
thanks again

You’re welcome.
The web, and blogging platforms can be a little fickle at times and it takes a while to find the smoothest way to get things done.
