pictures are resizing and cutting out part of picture on post page.

im having problems with picture sizing. the picture will size as normal in the cover page but when you click into the blog it resizes the picture and completely cuts out half of it. please help.

Hi fashionvsmusicgirl – just checking in to see if you had a chance to look at thesacredpath’s suggestions for featured-image sizing in Cubic. Just let us know if you need further help.
With the Cubic theme, on the single post pages, the area for the images is landscape (wider than tall) in proportions, so if you have an image that is portrait (taller than wide) the image will be cropped, and it appears the bulk of your featured images are landscape in proportion. If we size the portrait proportion images, in the CSS, so that there is no cropping, there will be a lot of white space to the left and right of the images.
In the Cubic Theme Showcase page, it says featured images should be 2000px wide by 1500px tall, which is a ratio of 1.33 to 1 (width to height). With that ratio, there would be no cropping of the images.
