Pictures are too big

  I just started my wordpress blog and would like to use lots of pictures. However, when I upload a picture of high resolution it gets severely cut off. Is there any way to have wordpress automatically fit it to where it is going?

  You’re best bet is to size your images in an image editing program before uploading them. Automatic resizing by a web program (if wordpress offered it) will not result in anywhere near as high of quality output as an image editing progam.

  You can resize them in the edit window by highlighting the image in the editor and then dragging a corner.

  You can also select them to be a thumbnail so it will show a small preview of the picture, and when the reader clicks it, it will bring you to the full sized image link.

  yeah as thesacredpath said, you can just resize them to a smaller size.
