I don’t think it’s your PC or media storage. I think the theme is designed more for single images, since it has to try to detect colors from the one image. Too many and it’ll just end up grey.
If you need many images on one post, can you try posting a single image at the top, and a gallery of other images underneath? That way the theme knows which image to use for the color scheme.

Hi, thanks for your advice, I will try, but the images are of paintings made with the same colors, so it is not a big variety from one image to another colorvice. I have to get my storage problem fixed anyway, and we will see if it helps.

Right, but the analyzer can’t “see” the colors like we do. It has to take each image apart and analyze it. It could be hanging up after too many.
Try that suggestion (putting one image at the top and any others below it) and see if it helps :)

Hi! I have another question for you, hopefully not to difficult to answer.
I have some blogs that I have followed for a long time, and in the beginning I got their posts in my inbox, but not anymore. can it be because my own blog was unactive/ not in use for along time? should I click follow on them again, or is it some other button to reactivate this function?

Head on over to https://wordpress.com/following/edit to check your settings there. You can choose which sites you get email for and which ones you don’t.
Also, be sure to check https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions — make sure you haven’t blocked all notifications there.
