Pictures disappear without full url

  • Unknown's avatar

    We have a problem with our posts. When we make a post with the editor, our images show up and when we post it they show up on the homepage, but do not show up on the single post page like. When we look in to the html code we see what the problem is. When we upload pictures the pictures should get the absolute url so:

    Images show:
    <img class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-9981” title=”style red” src=”http://www.firstofaugust.com/images/2011/12/style-red.jpg” alt=”” width=”480” height=”334” />

    Images does not show:
    <img title=”style1” src=”../images/2011/12/style1.jpg” alt=”” width=”480” height=”720” />

    An example of a single post page is:
    http://www.firstofaugust.com/foa-inspiration/first-of-august-style-inspiration-2/

    When you look at the homepage http://www.firstofaugust.com, the image does appear by the same post only not when you go to the post.

    And I also found a forum post exactly on this topic, but there was no answer to it:
    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/picture-disappears-and-html-is-defective

    In this post someone says that I should contact you directly.

    Can you please take a look and let me know what we can do to make it right?

    Thanks for the help.

    Kind regards,

    Coen
