Pictures Displayed Yesterday, Not Doing So Today

I have published 29 pieces on my blog, The World According to Jud. I posted a new piece yesterday about cage-diving with great white sharks. Yesterday, all the photographs I had inserted were opening perfectly. There were no problems.
Today only a couple pictures are displaying. Why?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Where the pictures should be displayed, there are black X’s in a box.
I am unable to delete them to try to post the pictures again. In 29
blogs, I’ve never seen these. I’m sure there are others out there who
have seen this problem. -

I see you’re editing the post currently. Can you let me know when you’re out so I can take a closer look? At first glance, it appears that it is trying to load a temporary preview version of the image, but I’d like to see what’s going on from the inside.
Did you insert the pictures via the Add Media button in your post editor at https://wjudson461.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=963&action=edit or via a different method?

I am out of the post and it seems to be working properly now. But it was yesterday, too. Yes, I added my pictures from the Add media button. Will be very interested in your input on what you find.

The photo captioned with “Our Master of Ceremonies, Jimi Partington” was using an URL that it shouldn’t have and I can’t (yet) determine why it would have used that.
I replaced it by choosing the image in the Media Library and now it displays as expected for me.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else.
