Pictures for categories

Hi, how can i use special pictures for each category? Until now, there is, esp in the category Norway, the standard picture by the theme. But I want to use a special picture for the category Norway. I didn’t find a possibility to change this pic. I only can set special pics for each article but not for the category. Need your help ;-) Thx.

Hi there,
With the Chateau theme you’re using, you can upload a custom header image for your blog by going to Appearance > Header (Design > Header if you are using WordPress.com in German) in your dashboard.
That custom header will be the default header image for your blog, including category pages. There isn’t a way to set a different header image for category pages. However, you can make a custom header on your individual blogs posts by adding a Featured Image to each post.

Hi Rachel, thanks for answering. The last days I’ve tried something different themes, but I think I will use the Chateau Theme now. And after your reply, I think it will be ok. My first thought was to use special header for each category like Norway or UAE. So the countries are so different and it should be a good idea. But now, I will choose something neutral.
