Pictures from Pexel

    Hi. Is it necessary to give credit for any pictures I get from Pexels? I added a picture to a blog post I’m working on, and it appeared with the name of the person who took the photo underneath it. So do I have to give credit for all the photos from Prexels?

    Hi there,

    Whether or not you need to add attribution depends on how the image is licensed. For images from Pexels specifically, no attribution is required – you can find their licensing information here:

    https://www.pexels.com/license/

    That said, giving credit to the person who took the photo is still the decent thing to do, so I would encourage you to do that. It doesn’t have to be on the photo itself if you don’t want it there – I usually add attribution for images I use in a footnote in slightly smaller text at the bottom of my posts.
