Pictures have disappeared

Hi..I know this is a long shot but anyway to figure out what happened to my pictures on my blog? The blog was last updated 10 years ago but I am getting back into updating it and the old pictures aren’t anywhere to be found. thanks for the help.

Looking at the very first missing image at the top of the front page, I see that image was not uploaded to your site’s media library, but was hotlinked from another website, http://www.icynene.com. When I try to visit that image directly at https://www.icynene.com/en-us/assets/images/Products/_resampled/ResizedImage273239-Products-Section-273×239.gif I get a 404 not found error, indicating that file has been deleted from that site, so it no longer exists for your site to display.
The second image on that first post is also being hotlinked from another site, http://www.airexchangers.info, but on that site the file still exists at https://www.airexchangers.info/images/exchanger_cutaway.gif, so it’s still available for display on your site.
This is why it’s never a good idea to hotlink images – if they get removed from the original source, they also get removed from anywhere that they’ve been used. To prevent this, always upload the image file itself directly to your media library, so you have control over the actual file.
