Pictures loading too small…
-
Help!I am trying to post pictures larger and can not get them to grow!!!
I uploaded 72 dpi image files and that went great! Then when i post them on the
actual post…they stay way too small. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
THanks.

I have the same problem.
But I have read the FAQ post:
How-I-upload-pictures
about the problem, but I find the description under “You now have 6 options” very cryptical.
Eg: “When you click it.nothing happens”, or “When you click it the same image is shown all on it’s own”… What does that mean?In the end it says “Always click “Send to Editor” to get the image into your post.”, so I did that. But it appear in thumbnail size (that is the problem), and when I follow the advice under “If your images are always thumbnails:” a and go into HTML to remove the end piece, it is not there. It looks like this;
<p class=”MsoNormal”> <img src=”http://annedane.wordpress.com/files/2006/09/strandskype.thumbnail.jpg” alt=”strandskype.jpg” />
<p class=”MsoNormal”>So why ## is it thumbnail?

By the way, I inserted another picture yesterday, which is a good size. I did not know how to do it so I copyed the link location and used the small pic icon to insert it, then corrected the size which was too big. But in this case it is not possible to correct the size.

click on the pic…and you get four or five options..one of them is USE THUMBNAIL..click on it and it changes to Use Original and then send it to editor.

Yes, I realised that. Thanks.
Ehm, now there is another issue:
Some of the pictures on my blog is still on Blogger, while others (eg, the storm in Maroubra pictures) are moved to WordPress. It seems the pictures which are still on Blogger loads much faster!!
How can that be?
Is WordPress somehow more heavy than Blogger.
– or has is something to do with location?
I am located in Sydney. Is that relevant?Anne

The post you are linking to, is more like an accident. I deleted the blogger pic in the post and imported a new one, but somehow the proces got f## up all the time so I gave up because I was running out of time.
But you are right anyway, because now after I cleaned my chache none of the pictures still located on Blogger shows on the blog.
