Pictures not being uploaded in Landscape

  Good day,
  So im new to the blogging world and have a simple question. How can I display my images in Landscape on my blog? I uploaded a picture that i took in landscape and when i imported it into my blog its displayed as portrait and the image is squished. I would like some light on this issue. Please.

  Was the original image file saved as landscape?

  You can rotate the image post-upload following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-editing/#rotating
