Pictures not showing up

Hello so I recently changed my them to Dyad, and have been customizing that all day. There’s just one problem: I can’t figure out how to get pictures to display on the website. All that comes up is the text post, saying click to read more, but I want the pictures and text side by side. I’m just wondering how you would get that to show up. Thank you

Just in case you haven’t come across it yet, there are some helpful hints on the Dyad Theme’s information page:
https://wordpress.com/themes/dyad/From what I can tell, using Featured Images and creating special Tags for the Featured Content area are key components to this particular theme.
To display the images along with posts on the front page, I recommend double-checking to:
– ensure that a Featured Image is set for each post…
