Pictures on my friends blog dont work

It appears that it says “404 Not Found” “ngix” is this a wordpress error, he doesnt have his pictures no more and wants them back?
Any suggestions whats happened here?!

I don’t see any images in his posts, but there are some in his sidebar.
Please give us the exact URL of a post that’s supposed to have an image, and the image URL too. If you can get a copy of all the HTML code in that post, paste it here between backticks, those little marks on the same key as the ¬ usually.

Can your friend see the missing images in his/her media library? -
Im his friend, and I can see the listing but not the images.
It says “2000 images” but when I click “see image”, they dont appear. -
You need to look in the Media Manager and see if your pictures are there. Trying to list a directory does not work.
Also did someone get a password and delete some pictures?

Did your friend delete the images from his Media Library to “clean it up?” Lots of people do this. If you delete them, they’re gone. You can’t take a book out of the library if the librarian threw it out.

Im his friend, and I’ve looked at the Media Library and ALL the files are there. I didn’t touched anything, they only got broken.
Also, I didn’t gave ANYONE my password, im the only owner, admin, editor, and everything. Any sugestions?

If the images are listed in the image library, then you are going to have to contact staff directly at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ as they are the only ones that can sort this out.

Wait a minute.
If you’re the only editor, owner, admin, etc, then of course your friend can’t add images. Duh.

It has not been fixed yet… I hope the images return to the normal soon. They have been broken since the saturday :S
