Pictures Question???

So I just started today (well yesterday if you count the hours I spent going through the many many themes) and I got everything kind of like I want it. I finally decided on the Hum theme? Or maybe the Oxygen theme? I could of swore I was using Hum, but it is saying that I am using I guess the Oxygen theme. I am not liking the appearance of the page when you go to mybutterflyspirit.wordpress.com. First of all it is not showing the whole post like I want it to. Second of all it seems to be randomly picking an image from my post as the featured picture, and if I had wanted that one to be the featured picture I would have either put it at the top of the page. I have looked for where I go to edit this and have even deleted the featured picture and it is still showing up on this page as the featured picture. Where do I go to choose which pic should be featured and which one should not be featured? This is very frustrating to me as I am very picky about what images get featured especially when it comes to me being and artist. I always want my artwork featured over an inspirational pic I added for the purpose of inspiration. Please help me!

Ok, I solved all of my problems. I did actually have oxygen theme, but obviously it wasn’t working for me. I clicked above on themes and then sorted by what was important to me. I found a wonderful theme that I just love the way it looks all the way around and I am just loving it! Now I can go confidently out into the world and promote it knowing that it looks like I want it to look! Thank you, but I fixed my problem with a new theme and amazingly enough it didn’t screw up my post or my blog. I just added my banner image into it cropped it to fit and wahhlaaa! I was done… Well I did change the background from white to lavender I mean, my blog is about my butterfly Spirit!
Thank you to all who read down through this and were coming up with answers or didn’t even have any before you got to this response to find out I answered my own question.
