Is it possible to create many different kinds of pictures to be posted all together in a single post. Like 20-30 pics aligned all together in proper arrangement of the rows and columns? anyone have tried it?

Yes. It’s perfectly possible. You might get some alignment issues, though, and it’ll slow your blog loading time down. You might want to try using a Gallery, as explained in the support documents.

I use Open Office Writer (for Windows users it’ll be Microsoft Word) to make a table to keep the pics aligned properly.
Make a table with an equal number of cells as you have pics, set the table to be 100% width and the borders at ‘0’ to make the table invisible.
Copy and paste the table into the post. You probably won’t see it until you click the ‘HTML’ tab then click back to ‘Visual’. The table will then show up as dotted lines.
Center the cursor for each cell then upload a pic for each one. With ‘Writer’, the cursor will align top center. ‘Word’ will probably align the same.
The screenshot shows a finished post ready to publish. The dotted lines around each pic is the table.

Please, in the name of all that is holy, don’t use a word processing program to do this. I could point you to hundreds of threads in this forum, all about how Word or some other similar program has messed up a blog.
Use a proper offline blog editor like Blogdesk, Windows Live Writer, or Ecto. Or if you just want tables, use an online HTML table generator.
Mark my words, using Word or similar will end in tears.
