Pictures uploaded from smartphone becomes blurry

Every time I try write a blog post from my cellphone and add a picture it becomes extremely blurry. This happens mostly from my Sony Xperia but I also feel that the kind of the same thing happens with my iPad.
When I upload the picture from my phone to photobucket it doesn’t get that much blurry at all, so I guess it’s nothing wrong with the phone itself.
This started after a new version of the app came, must have been this some time summer.
The same thing happens when I upload it in full size or reduced size, no difference at all.
How can this be solved? I want to use pictures directly from my phone, so I can blog with pictures all day and not just when I have the time to sit by the computer. Is there some kind of setting that I need to change?Some examples can be seen in my blog (like the cat showing its belly, posted not too long ago), but lately I’ve been trying not to use pictures in the posts I write from my phone because it looks really bad :(
