Pictures widget in the main page

  Dear WordPress.com Team,
  our Blog http://www.gummigamingbande.wordpress.com shows in the layout the picture option, which came automatically by posting pictures for our posts. Is there a way to hide this less beautiful widget?

  Sidebars
  A custom Images sidebar has been built into Ideation & Intent. This sidebar will display images from the latest 10 posts that have image attachments. Up to 8 images will be displayed for each post and each image links directly to the post it is attached to. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/ideation-and-intent/

  It seems your free choices are two in number:
  1. don’t upload images
  2. switch to using a theme that does not have this feature http://wordpress.com/themes/
