Pictures won’t show up!

All of my blog’s pictures won’t show up, it’s been like this for about five days. A tag line with the photo number shows up instead, and when I or anyone tries to view the picture it says the “Access Denied” thing. I posted a thread on this about five days ago and did not yet receive any responses.
Past threads have suggested that perhaps this is a wordpress server problem? Is that the case?

We don’t need your password to help you, if anyone ever asks you for a password they do not have good intentions unless you have a private blog.

Do you want your blog to be viewable to everybody, and searchable by search engines, or do you want it to be completely private?
Currently your blog is set to private, which may be why they would get the message you described.

when I try to view the pictures using my account information, or when people who have the information (invited guests) try to view the blog, the pics can’t be viewed.

On your dashboard > Options > Privacy, your settings are currently set to private I suspect.

this is a new problem for me; I’ve had the blog for a long time and this situation has never occurred which is why I thought it was a wordpress problem.

yes, the settings are set to private, and there are a few wordpress users who are allowed to see it, but, those settings are not new.

when they place in their user info, can they view the pics then? I’ve not used the privacy options before so I’m not sure how it works. Maybe they would need to use them again however, since the photos would indeed also be private.

No, they can’t see the pics with their user info. And neither can I. This is the first time that the pictures haven’t been viewable. All previous time (in the year and a half since I’ve had the private blog) once I log in, and once an invited person logs in, the pictures are viewable.

Images on a private blog will be viewable by users of that blog who are also logged in.
If you are not a registered user of the blog you see nothing but the error message.
If you are a registered user of the blog but are not logged in you also see that message.This is a new change to enhance privacy.
