Pilcrow – show who's the author
-
I just switched to the Pilcrow theme and like it for the most part, but I was wondering- “Why doesn’t the author show?” We have multiple users on the blog and we want people to know who wrote what post. Can anyone help me?
Blog: http://everymonthmarch.wordpress.com/
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Pilcrow does not display the name of the author, but rather their profile (from the information under Users > My profile > About you). See here for more:

It means that it will not show on the blog’s front page (where you see several posts at a time), but only when you look at a single post.

Thanks for your help, but where should I be looking? I still don’t see where the author’s profile/name shows up on a single post?
Is this something I need to enable specifically in Pilcrow?

Yes I understand that. But you said it will show the Authors profile when looking at a single post- I have tried looking and it seems that isn’t the case.

I see… I took the information from the link I gave you above. Perhaps Pilcrow no longer works that way. Sorry.

There’s nothing stopping the author from typing in a byline at the top of their post. You can also set up a Category for each author so they can assign it to their posts. You can use the Authors widget and the Author’s grid widget as well in the sidebar as well.
