  How do I add “pin it” buttons to images on my blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hiya Kathy,

  While Pin It buttons cannot be attached to individual images, the Pinterest sharing button can be added to your posts, and therefore, your visitors can post your images to their Pinterest boards.

  Okay, thank you. I did see that, but I’ve also seen lots of blogs where they have both a Pinterest sharing button and individual Pin It buttons. Is that option not available on WordPress blogs?

  It isn’t available on WordPress.com-hosted sites.

  It is possible to add individual Pins on images if you self-host a WordPress site via WordPress.org.

  Thanks for your help! It sounds like a wordpress.org blog is the way to go if I decide to get serious about blogging. I’m just dabbling right now. :)

  Thanks! I do have one more question, while I have you: on my musingsofamoderngirl blog under Customize when I go to Site Title, I have the option to display or hide the header text, but on the livelaughlovelake blog, that option doesn’t show up. Do you know why that would be?

  Hey Kathy, Very interesting! There isn’t a reason that I can see why the option isn’t available. I am going to mention it to our developers to see if we can have that feature added, since it appears to be offered with most other themes. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! :)

  Hi Kathy!

  Looks like our speedy developers have made that adjustment. You can now choose your site title/tagline visibility setting at Appearance → Customize → Site Title.
