Pin it Button That's Visible?

    I need a Pin it Button on my site, like where the pages are listed. How do I do that? Now it’s only hidden on my baby icon you wouldn’t even know it’s there.

    Hi there,

    It appears as if you’ve successfully added two types of Pinterest sharing buttons to your site. If you want to add a larger button to your site, you may consider creating a widget, as described here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/create-your-own-widget/

    Individual Pin It buttons are not currently available on images from WordPress.com sites.

    If you’re interested, you can add your Pinterest profile, boards, or pins to your site:

    That says I can embed on a post or a page. What about just on my home page? Just on my theme or on a widget? So it’s there at the first home screen? Apparently you can’t use pinterest boards in create your own widget because they all contain javascript.

    Absolutely! You can use the Create-Your-Own-Widget instructions to add the Pinterest widget to your home page.

    You can either add it directly to your home page content, or you can display it in your sidebar on your home page. You can have it shown in your sidebar only your home page, but no other page, by adding Widget Visibility settings, as seen here:

    That is true. But, you can use our Pinterest shortcodes to embed your profile, board(s), or pin by using the other instructions I sent along:
