Pinboard premium theme features compared to themify version
-
This belongs here, but I saw no way to add a new post:
http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/pinboardI see that Pinboard is available as a premium theme, and I’m considering buying it. However, I want to be sure I’d be getting features like Social media icons at the top and the ability to use a custom logo in the header without breaking responsiveness. Can you clarify for me?
The differences (if any) are not completely clear to me after viewing these two sites and demos.

http://themify.me/themes/pinboardI do realize the themify version is only for self-hosted sites.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We Volunteers don’t have access to premium themes and cannot answer your questions. I assume Themes Staff can and have flagged this thread for their attention.

The header image can be changed here, but there is no way to add social media icons to the header area.

Hm, I suppose you could add the HTML via Text widget, and just float that up to the header area via CSS. Nice idea! :)

I realize now that I can only post in the premium theme area after I’ve bought a theme. Thanks for clarifying here about the social media icons. I may go with Gridspace instead, because it has the icons already in place and elegantly done. Is there a trial period for premium themes in case I find it lacking?

No, but WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. You can usually request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refunds
