  Here are the results of ping and traceroute:

  C:Userstmccamish>ping http://gairpaq.wordpress.com
  Ping request could not find host http://gairpaq.wordpress.com. Please check the
  name and try again.

  C:Userstmccamish>tracert http://gairpaq.wordpress.com
  Unable to resolve target system name http://gairpaq.wordpress.com.

  Although gairpaq.org has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.

  When you purchase domain mapping the content stays exactly where it is and nothing except the URLs changes.

  In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from, and the domain name you desire must be available for purchase, or you must already own the domain URL.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard at > Store > My Upgrades to purchase upgrades for the blog.

  After you do the primary blog set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.
