Since yesterday Pingbacks no longer work on my site. Please help. I have been successfully putting pingbacks on my blog for at least 5-6 years without a problem and I know how to do it. It is especially annoying because my blog is no longer appearing on the tiles for the daily prompt. I suspect it to be a general problem, as I notice others also no longer have their pingbacks showing. On the Reader under the heading “daily prompt” my link exists and I can see my blog.

My pingbacks are still not working. I have examined all possibilities, but cannot see the reason why this is happening. I can no longer put my daily prompt onto the grid.

Is there anyone there? I got an immediate reaction that my failure to send a pingback on my daily prompt will be looked into. I received an answer about medlock (which I really did not undertand so well) and since there has been silence. Why is it that my pingback on https://angloswiss-chronicles.com/ is not working. Is this so difficult to find out. I have checked at my end and find no problem.

Pingbacks from my site have stopped working. They were working as of three days ago, but today and yesterday, they work one direction. If I click on them, they take me where they should, but they do no appear on the WordPress prompt grid, or on anyone else’s blog.
Nothing else has changed. I have not altered my settings, nor am I doing anything differently than I have been for the past four years. I know I’m not the only one experiencing this because Angloswiss is having the same issue with one of her sites — but not both.
I have tried everything I can think of and have run out of ides. Help?
I’m not a new blogger. I know how this is supposed to work. It just ISN’T working.
