  Hello,
  I get a pingback every time I add a link to one of my older posts. What does that mean? Should I approve it, trash it? There is not enough information there to help me make a decision? is it a good thing to get that? Please help! Thanks a lot!

  It is just the pingback feature doing what it is designed to do: let you know when someone (in this case yourself) posts a link to your blog. You can ignore them, disable them or keep them there to help you and your readers see when you reference a post later on.
