How do i pingback ? I do not know how to pingback, kindly help. I want to participate in the daily prompt ,edge of frame . Your assistance would be highly appreciated,thank you in advance

I too am confused on pingbacks.
The Daily Prompt is posted.
I respond to the Daily Prompt, on my blog. I highlight text on my blog that for example says, “Today’s Daily Prompt Is” Using the “link” button in visual mode, I link that text to the Daily Prompt’s URL. And that will create a pingback? Or am I doing something wrong.
Sorry if I seem dense. I have read EVERY wordpress support document and for some reason have a mental block on how to create pingbacks.

You should just need to copy the link from the Daily Post page and insert that link somewhere in your post. If you’re having trouble with a particular post, could you point me to that one so I can take a look?

I think they are working too. I appreciate you double checking for me. I became confused by some of the wording and then feared I was doing it all wrong. For now, I think I’m good to go. But, I’m sure I’ll be back tomorrow with another mind blowing question lol! Thanks again for everyone’s help!
