Pingback and daily prompt

Why am I not on daily prompt? I decided to start the Daily Prompt today and wrote my blog quickly. I then thought I’d read about the pingback mechanism carefully and inserted the link. However my blog has not appeared on the Daily Prompt page some hours later. I have read and re-read all the instructions. I must be missing something. I want to sort this so I can post regularly in future. help

Story I need to clarify, I was asking questions about a daily prompt I posted on my public blog yorkhull.wordpress.com and not the one mentioned in the first posting which is a private blog. I am not sure why it appeared there. Hope that makes sense!

Hi yes after three days it suddenly seemed to right itself and I have now cracked it I think. Not sure how I did it but they are all appearing now, so problem solved. Thanks!
