pingback approval?

  Do I need to approve pingbacks if i use comment moderation?

  If you moderate comments you will see the pingbacks – you don’t need to approve them if you don’t want to

  Thanks for the reply……………….. do I need to approve them for them to work…… if I don’t approve them will that stop them working from the other users end?

  A pingback is just a notice / comment that there is a link to your site – the original link will still work just fine even if the pingback is not approved –

  Yes, you need to approve them for them to work. The links to your blog will still work, but the pingback won’t show up on your site unless you approve it.
