Pingback from page to page

  Hello, using wordpress 3.6.1, is it possible to receive pingbacks from another sites’ page to one of my sites’ page?

  I tried to edit the “rewrite.php” file with the tips i found regarding previous versions of wordpress, but none are working.

  No. Pingbacks are for posts. A pingback is a type of comment that’s created when you link to another blog post where pingbacks are enabled.

  My response applies to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs as this is the WordPress.COM support forum. It is not the WordPress.ORG support forum. http://wordpress.org/support/ The two are completely separate. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
