Pingback “half” working (less than half, actually)

  it might take a while for them all to process. you could try editting the post, and resaving, and seeing if the rest get pinged.

  Already edited the post (for resaving). Already waited half a day. No new pingbacks.

  Anyone else encountering this?

  Yep. It’s actually been as long as several month’s wait time for a self-ping to show up. For one thing, I don’t think the pings show up unless someone or a bot clicks through it.

  There are several of us (including me) for whom pingbacks and trackbacks often or usually don’t work. I’d estimate they work on my blog perhaps 5-10% of the time now (when I first registered, they always work).

  I’ve submitted a feedback and corresponded with the staff here, but they can’t figure out why it doesn’t work on our blogs.
