Pingback not showing on the Daily Post

Hello, I have been posting and linking to The Daily Post prompts for several months and my post today for ‘Sincere’ did not show up. In the past there have been times when pingbacks were not turned on from WordPress, but that does not to seem to be the case this time. I verified the link in my post was properly embedded and worked when clicked. I recopied and pasted the link and updated. I checked my settings and pingbacks are activated for both the blog and the actual post. This is the link: https://screamingcoffin.wordpress.com/2016/11/03/gravy-grits/. Does WordPress block pingbacks?

The Daily Post pingback showed up the next day 11/4/16, but posted for 11/5/16 and the pingback is blocked again.

I have been having this problem all week. The pingbacks eventually show up later or even the next day. I posted for ‘relish’ today and did not show up on Daily Post.

The pingback finally showed up for ‘relish’ but not until later in the day. It seems to be a widespread problem for many bloggers.
