  Hi

  I have tried that before and I just did two tests between random and photos, both directions. With all plugins active and one where all the plugins were deactivated.

  Still no pingback.

  If you want I can give you full access to the sites so that you can login and check.

  Is there any log files worth logging and looking at?

  Could it be a php module that needs to updated?

  Okay. Since sites outside WordPress.com aren’t getting pingbacks, either, I think your best bet is to post this issue in the WordPress.org forums here:
  wordpress.org/support

  They’d be better able to recommend what logs to enable, etc. I hope that helps!

  I’d suggest possibly closing that one and making a new post that focuses on pingbacks in general. The “on dailypost.wordpress.com” makes it seem like pingbacks work otherwise, and a problem between our two sites would be harder to troubleshoot.

  But since no pingbacks are working, even between your own sites, someone there may have some ideas.
